CIA Cafe in Soutd Portland

This is such a great little neighborhood café. The stadf is friendly, they have great foods and ice cream and a sweet little gift shop featuring local artists.

Awesome coffee/ food.

I’m a regular here. My go to “treat yourself” iced latte and breakfast cafe! Their “maple” breakfast sandwich is amazing! Must try for anyone trying this cafe for the first time :)

"Do you prefer edges or middle"? Seems like a casual question but when it comes to brownies it's absolutely vital. The brownie was excellent and the iced coffee was great.

This is such a nice location for this cafe in a nice part of the city. The only potential problem is those who are easily frustrated with parking, as it can be tough to find a place to park sometimes in this area. If you're not afraid to walk from your car a little, you'll find it worth the trip when you experience the delicious coffee and food that CIA has to offer.

I used to be a frequent customer at CIA when I was working near Millcreek. The food was good and the coffee was usually great. The local art is nice to look at and the prices are reasonable. It can get very crowded inside when it is busy, but there is a lot of seating and a very comfortable environment when it is quieter.

A good, run of the mill cup of drip coffee. The bagel and cream cheese we're good too, but I'd probably opt for a breakfast sandwich the next time I stop by and maybe try a single origin coffee instead of the blend I had today. All served up on roller skates and a smile. That last part makes a big difference

Really cute place. Lots of options for breakfast and lunch. Lots of various seating as well. Comfy couches, cute tables, and high tops. The art is beautiful as well

I am a semi regular here. Peaceful environment, friendly staff, good sandwiches, pastries and drinks, and all of that is nestled into the adorably quaint Knightville neighborhood.

They are so nice and wonderful here. Food is great!

Wonderful coffee shop in South Portland. Friendly staff, great coffee and baked goods, including quiche, scones, muffins, bagels etc. Open, bright atmosphere. Perfect spot for meeting friends or getting some work done.

The food and coffee are great here, although this location is much more crowded than the newer one in Saco. Still a great place to enjoy a coffee and lunch when in South Portland. Not a great location if you are planning on bringing a laptop and working while you eat as it can be very busy and noisy.

The best coffee shop in your neighborhood. I like the coffee, breakfast sandwich and BROWNIES. I really love their brownie. I think they always make it fresh because the sold out before the end of the day. The shop decorated with the picture and there sell some local product which is nice and handmade.

Always delicious sandwiches and some of the best coffee in town. Always satisfied with the iced coffee and cold brew. I didnt see them but I hope they do coffee ice cubes at some point because their large is huge and can take a bit of time to finish!

Friendly family owned and operated business in Knightville neighborhood of South Portland. Friendly staff with a sense of humor. Great Cappuccino, tea and local ice cream for a hot summer day. A light and cheerful location on the corner for studying, meeting friends and a little time off. Parking in front is normally available. They also have pastries and light sandwiches.

Cold day and we were up in Maine for a short stay. Sandwiches were hot, greens were fresh and no complaints to be heard. Ice cream was a hit with with the kids. Highly recommend CIA as a stop in South Portland.

Jeannine is one the the coolest, kindest people I've encountered just as a customer. She effortlessly makes you feel welcome, and the food/coffee is great quality for a fair price. I'm close to being an every day customer, it's a good place to do homework too :)

Delicious sandwich of both the breakfast and lunch varietal. My favorite is the "Maple" breakfast sandwich. Several coffee options from drip to espresso, to nitro cold brew. Friendly staff, plenty of seating with big windows to let the light in. There is also a selection of local artist offerings in their retail area. Street parking only.

I visit this cafe every time I’m in South Portland. Breakfast sandwiches are always great. I’ve tried several and no disappointments. Coffee is good and the atmosphere is comfortable. Always clean. Glad they are here.

Nice cafe to meet up with friends for delicious sandwich choices. Also displayed for sale are a variety of quality handcrafted gift items, jewelry, kitchen items, stationary, etc ...browse through these as you await your order. Cozy, friendly atmosphere. If you bring your dog ..... water bowl provided outside and a couple of tables for you to dine at while your pet relaxes as well.

It's a Small and a very cozy place with lots of sitting. Also, seemed kids friendly, with a couched area where parents with kids would be the most comfortable perhaps. I think the lovely girl on skates was Jeannie, she is this sweet blonde that skates her way around the register and the small bakery area behind the counter. She chatted with us after we told her we were visiting Portland and were traveling back to San Francisco soon. Her baked goods were amazing! The coffee was delicious! The atmosphere in the place was just so chill we didnt want to leave. Next time in town, we will definitely come by. PS: The CiA sticker is to be put on the golden gate for you Jeannie. Thank you

Cia Cafe has great breakfast sandwiches. If you're going here get the Maple Breakfast Sandwich, it's very good. The food here is definitely worth the visit.

Our first time there. They have cute little chairs for kids and coloring to keep them entertained. I had the everything bagel and it was tasty. We will be back!
